We have not seen a protest at a PGA event since Martha Burke picketed across the street from Augusta National in protest to their membership policies regarding women. This week, that will change when a group of Holocaust survivors protest the Champions' tour Allianz championship this week. Allianz, the insurance company has been connected with Hitler and Nazi Germany. The insurance company sold life insurance policies to Jews during the 1930's and into the 1940's; but failed to make due on those premiums when Holocaust survivors filed their claims. Allianz cited the lack of documentation for not accepting the claims. Protesters are livid that Allianz has money to sponsor golf events, but no money for claims made by Holocaust survivors.
