Lee Westwood
No stats needed here. Westwood will be inspired this week. He was just knocked off the world’s number one mantle, he was considered a faux number one to begin with, and Johnny Miller went as far as to say that once he became number one “he acted as if he didn’t want it.” Surely, Westwood doesn’t care what Miller has to say; but certainly he heard what was said, and he will be out to prove a point.
Graeme McDowell
This pick is as much about the man is it about the stats. McDowell has been on a serious run since his US Open win. The man has moxy.

Brian Gay
Missed two cuts in five starts, it’s time for the real Brian Gay to show up. Gay’s numbers are too good to resist this week.

Perhaps a little weak on overall stats, but he is ranked 11th in scoring average before the cut and that makes him likely to be around on the weekend. Jacobson has missed one cut in five starts and has played well at the Honda—T6 last year and T4 in 2009.
